{"id":7561,"date":"2016-06-14T09:19:18","date_gmt":"2016-06-14T09:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laborcsomagok.kelen.hu\/en\/?page_id=7561"},"modified":"2016-07-04T12:40:14","modified_gmt":"2016-07-04T12:40:14","slug":"ophthalmology","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/laborcsomagok.kelen.hu\/en\/our-services\/outpatient-care\/ophthalmology\/","title":{"rendered":"Ophthalmology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Our ophthalmology care deals with diseases of the eye and effects of other organs\u2019 diseases in addition as well.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Diseases of other organs may impair the vision, but in some instances other systems illnesses may be concluded from eye disorders without causing vision loss.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>Examinations and treatments:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>vision, color vision, fundus examination<\/li>\n<li>intraocular pressure measurement<\/li>\n<li>examination, evaluation and follow-up of eye symptoms of internal diseases (hypertonia, diabetes, vascular and particular neurological, autoimmune diseases)<\/li>\n<li>examination, treatment and follow-up of inflammatory eye diseases<\/li>\n<li>clinical evaluation and treatment of glaucoma<\/li>\n<li>removal of accessible foreign body, probing of lacrimal canaliculi<\/li>\n<li>eyeglasses and contact lens prescription<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>Our special services:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>contact lens examination, fitting and teaching<\/li>\n<li>correction of all kinds of refractive errors with contact lenses, therapeutic contact lenses, cosmetic contact lenses (e.g. cosmetic correction of injured, deformed eyes)<\/li>\n<li>colored contact lenses and special lenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eye examination usually <strong>generates no pain<\/strong>, but examination devices emitting relatively strong light can cause inconvenience to our patients with photosensitivity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Patient should not drive after pupil dilating! It happens on rare occasions that the patient\u2019s vision deteriorates for a few hours or even for a day, his\/her ability to read is lessened, but it wears off over time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our service has close relations with the institutions performing eye-surgery of particular ophthalmological diseases and specialists of related professions, applies up-to-date eyeglasses, contact lenses and excipients.
